One Year Ago...August 6, 2012...A young woman's life was brutially taken away on Mona Loa Blvd in Sarasota. Andrea Lee Rody was cutting high grass in the median to improve her neighborhoods appearance. She was struck by a car and so horribly injured that her face was unrecognizable. I compose this note out of anquish...nothing has been "done" to close this case. A shoplifter gets fines and appears in court etc...everyone should be held accountable for their actions and face the consequences. Why is this case any different? The family just wants complete closure from the local authorities. Nothing more..Andrea is greatly missed by all who knew her and shared "life" with her.
