  • Where/When: Saturday at 11 a.m. Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 4010 S Tamiami Trail.
  • Why Go: Kids age 3 and older, will participate in a group reading, games and hands-on craft projects.

  • Pricing: $14 members, $17 non-members.

Fun to be Fit

  • Where/When: Gulf Gate Library, 7112 Curtiss Ave. Friday at 10:30 a.m.
  • Why Go: Families are invited to Gulf Gate Library for an early morning of physical activities to keep you moving, and help you stay fit. Children ages 1 to 5, along with parents, will learn fun ways to stay in shape with music, and animal movements.

  • Why Go: Children of all ages will enjoy hours of jumping fun on the inflatable bounce houses, slides, climbing structures and more!

Home Depot Kids Workshop

  • Where/When: Home Depot,4111 Cattlemen Rd. Saturday at 9 a.m.
  • Why Go: In this exciting Do-It-Yourself class, kids ages 5 to 12 will design, construct and paint their very own race cars. In addition, participants will learn important safety tips while enjoying quality time with their parents.
