Reported Missing Woman Returns Home Without Incident

Update: Hazel Rogers returned to her home at 5:30 p.m. without incident and in good health after being reported missing Monday, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

Earlier: The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a missing elderly woman who left her home in the 4100 block of Oakhurst Circle West in Sarasota between 8 and 10 a.m. Monday morning and hasn’t returned.

Hazel Rogers is 93 years old and drives a 2002 blue four door Buick LeSabre with Florida license tag U742DB. She is not believed to be in danger and does not have significant medical issues, but Hazel typically does not go out for such a long period of time, family told deputies.
