Bullets Shot At Sarasota Home

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office says someone shot at a Tulip Street home after the victim didn't answer the door.

Sarasota County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a red four-door sedan seen on the 2300 block of Tulip Street Tuesday night suspected to be used in an attempted shooting.

At 10 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to the 2300 block of Tulip Street where an unknown suspect or suspects knocked on the front door and after the victim didn't answer the door, gunshots were heard, according to the sheriff's office. 

Several bullet holes were found on the exterior of the home and at least one bullet passed through the home, according to the sheriff's office.

A red four-door sedan with three people inside was seen leaving the area moments later, according to the sheriff's office.
