Cross This 'Violent' Fugitive Off Sarasota's 10 Most Wanted List

After the arrest of Roy Pandeloglou, on the run for the past 13 months, only two men remain on the list. Have you seen them?

Authorities in Sarasota have captured a "violent fugitive" who had been on the county's 10 most wanted list, officials said Monday.

Roy Pandeloglou, 55, had been on the run for the past 13 months after violating his state probation, Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Wendy Rose said.

The sheriff's Fugitive Apprehension Unit, along with a fugitive task force of U.S. Marshals, arrested Pandeloglou on Monday in the 3400 block of Park Ridge Circle.

He had been on probation for a 2010 felony battery case in which he caused great bodily harm to a female victim. Pandeloglou absconded in June 2012. He is now being held without bond.

The arrest of Pandeloglou leaves just two fugitives on the initial list of Sarasota County’s 10 Most Wanted list, released in March of this year, Rose said.
