Miami Man Abadons Car On Side Of Road, Considered Endangered

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is looking for Eduardo Jesus Lavado after his car was found on Interstate 75 on Wednesday.

Update Nov. 19: Deputies found Eduardo Lavado in good condition over the Nov. 17 weekend.

Original: The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is searching for a Miami man considered endangered after his car was found abandoned Nov. 7 on Insterstate 75.

Eduardo Jesus Lavado left Miami on Saturday and his blue 2009 Nissan Sentra was abandoned on the southbound shoulder of I-75 near mile marker 201 between 1 and 2 p.m., Wednesday, according to the sheriff's office. The gas tank wasn't on empty.

Lavado is 44-years-old, 5’ 10” tall and weighs 265 pounds and suffers from mental health issues, according to the sheriff's office. He has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing dark basketball shorts, a light colored T-shirt with stripes and plain white Air Jordan sneakers. He is bilingual and speaks English with an accent, according to the sheriff's office.
