Motorcyclist Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries In Crash

Crash at 12th Street and Tuttle Avenue sent both the driver of a motorcycle and van to the hospital for their injuries.

A 58-year-old motorcyclist is battling life-threatening injuries Friday afternoon following a crash on 12th Street and Tuttle Avenue.

Sarasota Police are investigating a serious injury crash that occurred at 12:07 p.m., at the intersection that involved a motorcycle and a van.  

The drivers of both vehicles were transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries, according to police.
