Police: Sarasota Man Sexually Abused 9-Year-Old
Sarasota Police Department on Thursday charged Alex T. Jones, 31, of 1830 22nd St., Sarasota, for capital sexual battery on a victim under 12 years old.
A north Sarasota man is facing capital sexual battery charges for abusing a 9-year-old girl.
on Thursday charged Alex T. Jones, 31, of 1830 22nd St., Sarasota, for capital sexual battery on a victim under 12 years old. The Tampa Bay U.S. Marshal's Office Fugitive Task Force located Jones in Bradenton and arrested him on the warrant, according to police.
The sexual battery happened in July 2010 on the 1700 block of 24th Street, according to police.

Jones was taken to the Sarasota County Jail where he currently remains without bond.
