Sarasota Man Charged For Possessing Child Porn

Harry Walsh of Sarasota had his computer seized at home as well as computers at his office seized, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

A 58-year-old Sarasota man is facing child porn possession charges after detectives found 20 videos and photos of children performing sex acts.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged Harry Martin Walsh Jr., of 4057 Crockers Lake Blvd. #2516, Sarasota on Thursday following a search at his home and detectives also seized computers from his work at AmStar Litigation on Bee Ridge Road where he works as an office manager, according to the affidavit.

Walsh had uploaded the images online via Google's Picasa Photo Sharing system and titled the album "Child Pornography," according to the affidavit.

Detectives conducted a forensic examination and confirmed a minimum of 20 child pornography files exist on at least one laptop computer, according to the sheriff's office.

Because he had more than 10 images, the charges are considered second-degree felonies, according to the sheriff's office.
