UPDATE: 'Suspicious Incident' at Park is Not a Criminal Matter, Sarasota Police Say

A "suspicious incident" that took place at a Sarasota park is not being investigated as a criminal matter, police said Tuesday.

Police have identified the man in a photo that they released Monday in reference to the incident, which took place Aug. 2 at the Children's Fountain at Bay Front Park, located at Ringling Boulevard and Bay Front Drive.

Authorities had said the man was not a suspect and that they just wanted tok talk to him about the incident.

Sarasota Police are asking the public for help in identifying the man in this photo. They want to talk with him about a suspicious incident that took place at the Children's Fountain at Bay Front Park, located at Ringling Boulevard and Bay Front Drive.

The police are emphasizing that this man is not a suspect. They just want to talk to him about an incident that occurred on Aug. 2, 2013, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  

"This subject is not facing criminal charges at this point," according to a statement from police. "The Sarasota Police Department is attempting to identify this subject to speak with him regarding the event and clarify his involvement."
