Sarasota Residents Injured in Crash
Two elderly drivers were seriously hurt in the morning accident.
Two Sarasota motorists have suffered serious injuries in an accident Thursday on Bee Ridge Road.
Barney R. Radov, 89, who had been driving a 2000 Buick, was taken to Blake Medical Center with serious injuries.
Peggy L. Creadon, 63, who was driving a 1999 Chevy, was taken to Doctors Hospital with serious injuries.
Deputies say that Radov had stopped his vehicle at the intersection of Heritage Oaks Road and Bee Ridge Road. Radov attempted to make a left turn and pulled directly into the path of Creadon's vehicle.
Creadon swerved but could not avoid a collision.
The accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
