Sheriff's Office Searches For Purse Snatcher
Woman was robbed Monday night outside of a restaurant on Bee Ridge Road when a man pushed her down and ran away with her purse.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is looking for a strong arm robbery suspect who snatched a woman's purse outside a Bee Ridge Road restaurant Monday.
The sheriff's office released security video footage Thursday of the man who is shown loitering at a neighboring laundromat until the restaurant had closed.
The woman walked to her vehicle before 10 p.m. outside of the restaurant, in the 3500 block of Bee Ridge Road, when a male suspect snuck up behind her, pushed her down, grabbed the purse and fled, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 180 pounds with brown hair. He had a crew cut, tattoos on both calves and was wearing a Hollister shirt.
