UPDATE: Sarasota Man Found After Silver Alert Issued

Update: Herbert Boughn was found Sunday afternoon and is in good health, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

Earlie: A statewide Silver Alert is ongoing for a missing 71-year-old man who may be driving to New Mexico, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

Herbert Martin Boughn was reported missing at 3 a.m. Sunday and was last seen at his home on the 4200 block of Pasadena Circle.

Boughn may be driving a 2006 Chevrolet extended cab silver pickup trug with Florida tags 914MVU, according to the sheriff's office.

Boughn is 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 186 pounds, has grey hair and blue eyes.

Boughn has a medical condition that requires monitoring, according to the sheriff's office.

The investigation was reported to Florida Department of Law Enforcement and a Silver Alert has been issued for Boughn.
