SPD Collecting Jeans For Homeless Teens

Collection is part of the Teens for Jeans campaign promoted by Aeropostale Stores and DoSomething.org.

More than 1.7 million homeless teens live in America and the common thread between them is that they need jeans to wear.

Sarasota Police Department is participating in a campaign called Teens for Jeans where people can stop in the lobby at the headquarters on Adams Lane and drop off donated jeans.

The campaign is promoted by Aeropostale Stores and DoSomething.org.  Since 2007 this campaign has collected more than 2.5 million pairs of donated jeans.
