UPDATE: Sheriff Obtains Warrant for Shooting Suspect

UPDATE: The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has obtained an arrest warrant for 25-year-old Jerry Williams, for the shooting at his home Saturday night.

ORIGINAL: Authorities are looking for a man they say shot at, but missed, three people Saturday evening, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance with gunshots fired on the 2500 block of Euclid Avenue around 10:50 p.m., according to a report.

Three victims said Jerry Williams, 25, shot at them, then fled the scene. None of the victims were injured in the shooting.

Williams is described as a black male and faces multiple felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon and is still at large. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Criminal Investigations Section at 941-861-4900 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 941-366-TIPS (8477), online at
