Undercover Prostitution Sting in Sarasota Nets 16 Arrests

Sarasota Police arrested 16 people in connection with prostitution and seized six vehicles during a two-day undercover sting on North Tamiami Trail.

Detectives from the Sarasota Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit and Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover operation targeting the prostitution problem plaguing the North Tamiami Trail neighborhood.  

The two day operation resulted in the arrests of nine females for prostitution, seven males for solicitation of prostitution and one male for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Six vehicles were also seized during this operation.

The following people were arrested: 

  • Raquel Smith, 32. Charges: prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Rachel Roberts, 23. Charges: prostitution  possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a medical drug without a prescription. 
  • Stacy Kiebzak, 46. Charge: prostitution (third offense).
  • Jennifer Dodge, 26. Charge: prostitution (third offense).
  • Kimberly Ellison, 25. Charges: prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia (second offense). 
  • Sara Gilbertson, 47. Charge: prostitution.
  • Nicole Baker, 29. Charges: prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia. 
  • Kathy Benson, 31. Charge: prostitution.
  • Travis Nye, 26. Charges: possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  
  • Johnny Green, 44. Charges: solicitation of a prostitute and driving without a valid license. 
  • Brendon Torres, 21, solicitation of a prostitute.
  • Bruce McKim, 75, solicitation of a prostitute.
  • Willie King, 41, solicitation of a prostitute and knowingly driving with a suspended license. 
  • William Schell, 70, solicitation of a prostitute. 
  • Scott Keating, 53, solicitation of a prostitute.
  • Ethan Holland, 24, solicitation of a prostitute.
