Who Left Ammo in Walmart Parking Lot?

Employees call 911, when they spotted a military-style ammunition box in the parking lot at closing time on Sunday. Who left it?

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is trying to find out who left a box of ammunition in the Walmart parking lot, at 13140 South Tamiami Trail.

On Sunday, at 6:30 p.m., deputies received a call from Walmart employees about an "unattended green military-style ammunition box" in the parking lot.

Deputies with the Hazardous Devices Unit responded to investigate and discovered the ammunition inside the box. Deputies now are hoping to learn who left the box of ammo, and why it was in the parking lot.
