Downtown, St. Armands Parking Hours Change

Timed parking will not be enforced Saturday and Sunday in downtown and St. Armands.

Strolling around Main Street and St. Armands Circle on a busy Saturday won't have to be rushed.

The City of Sarasota's Parking Enforcement will no longer enforce timed parking on Saturdays and Sundays in those two areas effective this week, according to the city.

Timed parking enforcement will be patrolled from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. now Monday through Friday. The previous end time was 8 p.m.

Parking signs are expected to be changed this week to reflect the new hours, according to the city.
