Free Admission to all Florida State Parks for Literacy Day

People must bring a library card, library book or a new or used book donation to take advantage of the deal this Sunday, Sept. 8.

Looking for a reason to finish that book you checked out from the local library?

In honor of International Literacy Day on Sunday, Park Officials at Egmont Key, the Gamble Mansion, Myakka Park or any other state park have announced that they are waiving park admission for anyone who presents the following at the front gate:

  • A valid library card
  • A book checked out from the library
  • A donation of a new or used, family-friendly book
Visit the Florida State Parks website to see what other parks you can visit in your area free of charge on Sunday.
