Murphy to Host Town Hall Meeting in Hamden

The state's newest senator will kick off a series of statewide town hall meetings at Hamden Middle School next week.

U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) will host a town hall meeting on Wednesday Feb. 20 in Hamden, his first in a series of town hall meetings across Connecticut.

Murphy will hold a town hall meeting in each of the state’s five congressional districts to discuss federal policy and hear ideas about how he can best represent the people of Connecticut in Washington.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hamden Middle School Auditorium, 2623 Dixwell Ave.

Murphy was elected in November, replacing the retiring Joseph Lieberman, who opted not to seek reelection after serving four six-year terms in the Senate. Murphy defeated Republican Linda McMahon for the seat.

wonder how he feels about UN agenda 21? How does he feel about the gov taking over 1/6 of our economy with Obamacare, how does he feel about the constitution and the 2nd amendment? What a guy?

Cheryl, Some would say Sen. Chris Murphy is in the limelight now, so he will not upstage Connecticut’s senior U.S. Senator. Senators are better at hiding their true feelings then some B rated actors.

He loves it all Cheryl, just another far left liberal that will follow the King.

Cheryl, why do you not want sick people to have healthcare? I would say that is evil.
