Parking Enforcement Returns

City of Sarasota has installed parking signs stating the hours of enforcement and length of time you're allowed to park.

You can still park for free, but you'll have to watch the clock unless you park in the Palm Avenue Garage.

New parking signs designating time restrictions are being installed throughout downtown .

On-street parking will be limited to 2 hours with enforcement Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. except on holidays observed by the city government.

Parking enforcement in the previous paid parking zones will resume as the signs are installed.  An overtime violation can result in a $25 citation.

The Palm Avenue Garage remains free to the public.  Overnight parking is not permitted.
