Discover your artistic voice while creating better designed more colorful paintings.  In this 3 day workshop, students will be guided through multi-themed paintings while learning to create powerful unifying compositions.  Learn the "whys" of color, how to make great greens, colorful grays and discover sensuous darks and more.

Develop the ability to use intense clear color with strong value contrast.   In addition, students will explore the method of creating various textures in watercolor. (glass, stone, foliage, brick, wood, rust, etc.)

In this workshop, watercolorists will be introduced to Aquabord by Ampersand Art Supply. Students will discover the ability to create more luminous paintings in watercolor and how to present their works without glass. (Working on Aquabord is optional.)

The workshop includes one 11" x 14" Aquabord and a 40 page booklet, a $35 value.
