Stefan Stephenson-Moe Receives Degree from Georgia Tech

ATLANTA— Stefan Stephenson-Moe of Sarasota has earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Stephenson-Moe was among approximately 2000 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech's 244th commencement exercises.

Ryan Sanders Makes Dean's List at Georgia Tech

ATLANTA—Ryan Sanders of Sarasota made the Dean's List for Fall 2012 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Undergraduate students earning a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester gain the distinction of being named to the Dean's List at Georgia Tech.

Regis Bigness Named to Dean's List at The Citadel

CHARLESTON, S.C.— Regis Jon Bigness of Sarasota, has been named to the Dean's List at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, for academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.

Bigness is a cadet seeking a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Biology.

Dean's List recognition is given to those students whose GPA is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester's work.

James Stults Named to Dean's List at Cornell University

ITHACA, NY—Cornell University's James Stults of Sarasota has been placed on the Dean's List of the College of Arts and Sciences for Excellence in Scholarship for the Fall 2012 semester

Local residents named to Clemson University Dean's List

CLEMSON, S.C.—The following local residents have been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the fall 2012 semester:

Celina Joann Burchett of Sarasota, who is majoring in Biological Sciences.

Elizabeth Adelaide Devitt of Sarasota, who is majoring in Environmental Natural Resources (Natural Resource and Economic Policy).

Raquel Michelle Raybon of Sarasota, who is majoring in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management (Travel and Tourism).

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Area Students Named to Dean's List at Florida Institute of Technology

MELBOURNE—The following students from Florida Institute of Technology were named to the Dean's List for the fall semester, which ended in December. They are:

George Vrampas, of Sarasota, FL a Mechanical Engineering major.

Brock Bontrager, of Sarasota, FL a Business Administration major.

Daniel Bodziak, of Sarasota, FL a Business Administration major.

To be included on the Dean's List, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester GPA of at least 3.4.

Leander Luke Watts Named to Honor Roll at Gardner-Webb University
