SCTI Students to Start the New Year in Fresh New Campus

It looks as if the Sarasota County Technical Institute is very close to being  complete, students be starting the fall semester on a fresh new campus.

Construction on the state-of-the-art institute began in May 2009 for Phase I and II, with Phase III recently completed this year.  The institute's 75-acre campus at Beneva and Proctor roads has a total of  three new buildings and or 344,000 square feet of classroom space.

A sign out front says the school administration is current looking for the right registered nurse to teach class instruction; anyone interested is asked to call, 924-1365 ext. 62417.

The school is also still enrolling students in a precision machining class that is set for August; interested pupils can call 924-1365 ext. 62283.

SCTI has a photo album showing phases of construction posted on their website.
