CUTTING LOOSE SALON Announces Kasey Gaskill as “The One”

Cutting Loose Salon recently announced Kasey Gaskill as the winner of their “The One” contest.  In partnership with Oribe, the competition mirrored Oribe’s “Backstage Miami 2013.”  Cutting Loose Salon selected seven senior student stylists of their training salon, Protégé by Cutting Loose Salon Protégés, who were tasked with the theme “Miami Nights” and a model to work with.  After sketching and formulating a plan to implement their ideas, they were rushed to make up where the Protégés glammed up their models.  Using a pair of scissors, entrants created an outfit out of an oversized black t-shirt, and then were sent to professional photo shoot.

The competition’s winner was selected based on the results of the photo shoot.  Gaskill’s creativity and focus stood out in her entry, and she was named “The One.”  As the winner, she was awarded with an exclusive package of Oribe products.

“Kasey showed enthusiasm and executed each of the tasks thrown her way with grace and ease.  We are so proud of all of our Protégé students and the beautiful photographs they produced that day,” says Coral Pleas, owner of Cutting Loose Salon.   “Cutting Loose Salon would like to thank the Oribe team for doing such an amazing job at ‘Miami Nights.’  It was truly inspiring, and we will make our ‘The One’ Contest an annual event!”
