Cutting Loose Stylist Cheyanne Clark Named “The Artist” Winner

Cheyanne Clark, stylist at Cutting Loose, has won W magazine and Bumble and bumble’s The Artist contest.  A once-in-a-career opportunity, Clark was selected from over 500 entries.  Of the six finalists, Clark received the overwhelming majority of Facebook votes for her look inspired by 1940’s hairstyles for men and women.

“This experience has been the most memorable one of my career.  I am so honored to receive this acknowledgement and have the opportunity to grow in the industry,” says Clark.  “I felt right at home during NYC trip and the whole journey was a dream come true.”

As the Artist, Clark flew to New York City and styled W magazine’s “Look of the month” feature in their October Generation W issue.  She also received an exclusive class at Bumble and bumble taught by Sabrina Micheals who taught Clark how to do a look featured in fashion week.   She also had the opportunity to meet Laurent Phillippon, a renowned French hair stylist. He's a world renown stylist from France.  Magazine and Bumble and bumble also hosted a special celebration for Clark at the house of Bumble and bumble.   Clark has been with Cutting Loose for 5 years as the salon’s first associate since its opening in 2008.
