Weight: 35 pounds

Bait/tackle: CAL white jig and PowerPro 10-pound test line, 15-pound leader, light spinning gear

Quotable: Bruce Burkhart: “It was a good fight. It stayed down and just ripped drag. Pulled 100 yards off the little reel. I got it up to the boat and saw the silver side and wasn’t sure – thought it was a big mack or little tarpon, and a dolphin tried to eat it so it took off again and went another 100 yards out until it I finally got it back to the boat and saw what it was.”
