Tampa Bay Lightning brought its fan tour to Five Points on Saturday.

The Tampa Bay Lightning brought its Rolling Thunder into Sarasota on Saturday.

Fans weren't deterred by a lockout and a threatened shut-down of the season as they turned out for the festival, which featured street hockey for kids, cornhole, giveaways and more.

The event was co-sponsored by the Downtown Sarasota Alliance.

The Lightning are also promoting a Sarasota Chamber Night on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 in a game against the Washington Capitals. The event features a pre-game party from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the Bud Light Party Deck. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

For $45, you get light hors d'oeuvres, one alcohol beverage per person, a welcome by Lightning and Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce executives and the chance to win unique fan experiences during the game.
