Photo Gallery: Payne Park Circus Playground Opening, Sarasota Sports Festival
The unveiling of the new circus-themed playground at Payne Park coincided with the Sarasota Sports Festival on Saturday.
Kids of all ages got their first chance to clown around on the brand new circus playground at during the first ever on Saturday.
Face painters and balloon benders from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey were on hand to pump up the circus spirit while Ringling Bros. performers led audiences in interactive, fitness-oriented CircusFit performances throughout the day.

When kids and families weren’t hanging with the clowns, they also had an opportunity to play on the new circus playground, which had its unveiling during the Sports Festival.
