Javier Aramayo-Angeles faces a battery charge for unwanted physical contact and kissing a student, according to the sheriff's office.
A Sarasota County Schools bus driver is now facing criminal charges and his job has been reassigned after kissing and massaging a 16-year-old student while on the bus. Javier Aramayo-Angeles, 51 of 4001 Beneva Road #330, Sarasota, is a Sarasota County school bus driver who now faces one count of misdimeanor battery, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office. The 16-year-old student reported that she was the last person on the bus with Aramayo-Angeles on Jan. 17 when he took a different route and pulled over on the side of Sarabay Drive, according to the affidavit. A woman wanted out of a car but was physically restrained by the driver, who fled police before being tased according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
A woman screaming inside a Mercedes Benz demanding she wanted out led to the arrest of its driver for false imprisonment on Tuttle Avenue Saturday morning. Deputies noticed the woman screaming inside the black Mercedes at 17th Street and Tuttle Avenue at 3:11 a.m. Saturday, and attempted to stop the car. The drive fled leading deputies on a short car chase, then the man left the car and fled, but deputies were able to catch up with him and deployed the Taser and took him into custody, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. The victim told deputies that she voluntarily got into the car earlier but she wanted out, the suspect refused and physically restrained her in the car, according to the sheriff’s office. The robberies occurred on March 6. There is one person already in custody.
On March 6, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office investigated a robbery which occurred near the intersection of New England Street and Rockefeller Avenue. The Sheriff's Office said the victim’s reported two male suspects and one female suspect forcibly removed 995 dollars in cash from them along with prescription medications, OxyCodone and Hydromorphone. The Sheriff’s Office identified female, Tammy Grayden, as one of the suspects involved in the robbery and located her at 3323 Cheshire Lane. Grayden was arrested for robbery and battery. The Sheriff’s Office is still attempting to identify the two male suspects who also participated in the robbery and battery.
