There already is a lot of revelry on social media for a new pub and grill that will open May 8. Craft beer is the focus at Revelry Pub & Grill, at 3005 University Parkway, which will offer 32 brews on tap, according to Bradenton.com. If customers are not hoisting a beer, they certainly will be getting beer-seasoned foods, promise owners Angela and John Candlish. The menu will include high-end foods, pub style, such as a "short rib and mushroom pie with beer braised Harris Ranch beef short ribs with a golden puff pastry." The two previous occupants of the location, The Fly and The Alley, were both able to bring in a diverse and endearingly quirky crowd, adding a sense of mystery and adventure to the bargoer’s night. MMMmm this place sounds yummy and I don't even drink. I may have to change that after seeing that they offer 32 different beers on tap. I wonder if they serve good old fashioned pub dogs with that really hot mustard.   more ›
