Sarasota Teacher Gets $5,000 On Ellen
Daphne Lewis appeared on Ellen DeGeneres's popular 12 Days of Giveaways.
A Sarasota teacher received quite the surprise Tuesday during an appearance on The Ellen Show. Daphne Lewis of Sarasota, a fourth-grade teacher, appeared on Ellen DeGeneres's talk show during Day 7 of Ellen's popular 12 Days of Giveaways where a video from her sisters, Monica and Valerie Lewis played where they nominated their sister Daphne to get some sort of break from Ellen. It turned out to be $5,000 plus a bunch of giveaways from the 12 Days of Giveaways. "You would never know how much she goes through because she never shows it," Valerie Lewis says in the video. Does anyone know where Daphne teaches? We checked with the local public schools and nothing has turned up so far. more ›
