Who Has The Best Sarasota Harlem Shake Video?
From the North Sarasota Library and Riverview High to the HuB and Men's Warehouse, Sarasota is doing the Harlem Shake.
Sarasota has a good collection of Harlem Shake videos, and I want to know who has the best. What's needed for a good Harlem Shake video, is of course, the Baauer song itself, a wide angle, plenty of props and costumes and people. Just go easy on the pelvic thrusts, will ya? If anyone does a Harlem Shake video, we'll pretty much link to it. Especially if it's a good cause like the 36-hour Giving Challenge. One of the latest is the esteemed Circus Sarasota, bringing out their best clowns to shake what the circus ring gave them along with tons of teens from its Sailor Circus program for teens and children. As for presentation, this is one of the best Harlem Shake videos considering the perspective inside the Sailor Circus dome on Bahia Vista Street. The Arts and Cultural Alliance and the HuB teamed up for several Harlem Shake videos for organizations in Sarasota, and they are all listed on the HuB's special Shake Up page. HuB Inviting Sarasota To Do The Harlem Shake
Goodbye Gangnman Style, there's a new dance in town and it's called the Harlem Shake. Sarasota can join in on Wednesday.
With a little shimmy and shake, the Harlem Shake was born and slowly since the song's release last year has built up into a dance craze that busted across the country this past week. Now it's Sarasota's turn to shake, shimmy, shuffle or whatever you're exactly supposed to do during the dance. Sarasota HuB is inviting Sarasota to come do a Harlem Shake video from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, inside the HuB building, 1680 Fruitville Rd. The HuB is requesting people RSVP via Eventbrite to get a good guestimate of how many people will shake what their momma gave them. The only requirement is that you bring a prop.
