A homeless man wanted for murder in Pasco County has been captured in Sarasota, authorities said Friday. Robert Allen Shelly, 50, is accused of killing another homeless man in Port Richey on Jan. 26. He was apprehended by the Sarasota Police without incident at the 10th Street boat ramp in Sarasota at 9:20 a.m. Friday, according to a police spokesperson. Shelly had been spotted by security cameras at stores in Pinellas Park, Seminole and St. Petersburg in the past two days but eluded authorities and fled to Sarasota County, officials said.
