Edgy film 'Spring Breakers' made in Sarasota, Tampa Bay in theaters Friday.
Today is the day when the naughty Spring Breakers film is unleashed to Sarasota. The film was made with interior scenes at Ringling College of Art and Design residences and mostly filmed in St. Pete Beach and Tampa Bay with plenty of nude scenes, drugs guns and Disney starlets gone bad in this R-rated feature. The plot revolves around the girls, including Vanesa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, robbing a restaurant to pay for their spring break adventure, only to get out of jail from James Franco's character Alien (Ale-leen), who uses the girls for his crime ring. It appears that the Ringling's student's dorm was transformed into a drug dealer's paradise with guns all over the wall, with more assault weapons and money spread out over the bed. …
