Ringling Bridge Run Prompts Lane, Road Closures
Annual marathon is Saturday
The Ringling Bridge Run returns Saturday with runners galore, and plenty of road and lane closures, too. The detours will occur between 7 and 9:30 a.m., according to police. Westbound traffic on Gulfstream Avenue and the John Ringling Bridge will travel on the eastbound side in a single lane through Bird Key Drive, according to Sarasota Police. Eastbound traffic will be subsequently reduced to a single lane as well. The westbound lanes will be used for the race. Here are the other closures and detours:
