When Burgers Are More Than a Lunch Fix

Diet, food writer, this food critic struggles with all the goodness.

I recently had the task of being on a burger Panel- that's right-- deciding who had the best burgers in town. Immersed in my work, I completely forgot I had my cholesterol check with Dr. Cervoni--FAILED miserably I confess. The darn bad cholesterol threw me under the bus - or at least under the bun.

They say the average food critic gains 40 pounds during their career. As a young bud (and busting) chef, I gained 25--lost them and a lot more weight when I went through a divorce and learned to drop the cinnamon buns for better buns myself. Now it seems the tasks have caught up on my waste line yet again. I tried to diet via blog on sarasotamagazine's foodiesnotebook. Lost 3 lbs gained 2...

Yes I walk on the treadmill- begrudgingly -but what's a food writer to do???

Someone open a healthy and flavorful low cal restaurant--PLEASE.
